Not only should Toindo be visited, but also Shabaton. You will be offered such food as perfectly cooked tonkotsu ramen, pork ramen and vegetable noodles, come here and try them. About a 10-minute walk from Nishinokyo Station, I ate pork soba at Shabaton-san, a Jiro-style ramen restaurant made by Muteppou-san. It was after 1pm on a Sunday, but there was a small line. The ramen was served rather quickly, and although the noodles were thick, the pork bones and the slightly sticky soup were a good match. Compared to Muttetsu-san's usual soup, the soup feels a little thinner, perhaps because it has less punch, but I guess it doesn't mix well unless it's a shabby soup. I'm a reckless person and have always wanted to eat thick noodles, so I preferred this one. By the way, the usual garlic soy sauce was not available at the table, so I received some garlic when ordering and added it myself.
