Had a takeaway delivered. Extremely overpriced food. Food was mediocre, no better than most of the Indian restaurants around the area. Will absolutely not be ordering from here again. Feel ripped off. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2

Just back from a meal in this lovely restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and attentive. Food was amazing, good size portions with lots of flavour and the pakora sauce was the best we’ve had. Will definitely be back here. My husband Manj and I are visiting here from Canada. We were recommended to try this place and so glad we did. This is the most authentic Indian food that we have ever had. It is a family run business that has been passed down through the generations.Now being run by Tabby (3rd generation) who is a very nice man.Tabby gave us 10++ customer service. The portions were perfect, the flavour was impeccable and the service was second to none. So please make sure you try Shafiq's Shimla Cottage. You will not regret itManj and Lynn Singh
