Excellent food! We used to go to clay oven years ago but quality had gone down a little in our opinion and prices had gone up significantly over several years. We switched to Cilantro’s they’re so much closer to where we live, prices are much better and flavors were/are out of this world. Today, I decided to check reviews and found that Shahi Flames reviews were right up there! Wife was leary to try but gave me the green light. So, we had veg pakora. They were a bit dark slightly over fried but the flavor was really good. Butter chicken was nicely spiced, (I don’t eat meat) and wife commented chicken was a bit dry. But I thought the sauce was great when I tried it. We also had Aloo Gobi which was fantastic. The Shahi paneer was awesome, and finally the Navartan Korma consistency was slightly different from what we have had in the past but the flavors were spot on. I’m giving 5 stars because the flavors were excellent. If an item or two aren’t perfect, neither is my life but I still think I live an excellent life. The fellow that took my order and I believe the same one that got my order was very courteous. The aromas in the restaurant are out of this world. What a Delightful sensory treat! We will definitely order from here again. Update! We’ve always ordered from Shahi Flames to go. Today we had some time to kill and decided to eat in. Our hostess was fabulous (although heavy accent and we had to ask her a number of times to repeat something) The food was fabulous as always, and there was plenty to take home. Shahi Flames continues to rank as our number 1 or 2 restaurant for Indian food- just depends on where in town we are when we decide it’s time to eat. Bravo Shahi Flames!
