Everything was perfect. The tigrillo lomo saltado is a must and a very large portion. The French toast was really delicious as well, soft on the inside with a caramelizad crust. Mango orange juice was so fresh. Matcha was well balanced. All of the dishes were presented beautifully. My boyfriend is gluten free and had delicious options to choose from. The restaurant itself is so cute and pleasant. The service was perfect, food came out quick and at good temperatures, and the staff was so kind and great with the recommendations. We had such a great experience at Shaka. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately offered the deal of the day—a summer wine that was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, and the heated terrace makes it even more enjoyable. I ordered the tigrillo with shrimp, which was exquisite and beautifully presented—full of flavor and clearly made with care. I also finally tried their açaí, and it’s honestly the best I’ve had in Quito. Highly recommend for both the food and the overall vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $15–20
