What an absolute gem of a place! Was in need of a decent halal food spot as it was late and at this point anything would do to fill us up however this spot turned out to be more than that! Firstly im assuming the brother who served us is the owner, incredibly hospitable, made it easy to order, warm and attentive service.. 10/10! And the food! Ive had many burgers and this spot is a hidden gem and more people need to know about it! It was 11pm yet the food was as fresh as ever, piping hot! Beef smashed perfectly and seasoned just right, not greasy and the homemade sauce 10/10! Tasted so fresh and so homemade, the beef quality was great too! Even the separate sauce its a large tub and not a tiny one where i gotta scrape jus to dip my chip in! And the prices are ridiculous! Its absolute peanuts, ive paid upto £15 for just a meal in other places however this was only £9 & i could have as many toppings at no extra cost, you gotta raise the prices, you deserve it! Could not recommend shake n bake enough, you’ve all gotta go and try this place! Its a hidden gem and incredible! Make your way to liverpool and get to shake n bake! It is worth the trip! And if you’re from liverpool.. i am JEALOUS cos this would be my go to cheat meal spot every single week without fail! We visited Liverpool today for the Baller League football matches, and on our way back home we were absolutely starving. After a quick Google search, we came across Shake N Bake — and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of the day! I ordered a double smashed burger with chips and a drink, and everything was amazing. The burger tasted incredibly fresh, almost like a homemade one, and I really liked the “make your own” style — it made the whole experience feel more personal and satisfying. You can tell they care about quality. On top of that, the customer service was excellent. My phone was down to 3% battery, and the guy at the till kindly helped me charge it, which I really appreciated. Small gestures like that make a big difference. Great food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Liverpool — I’ll definitely be coming back! Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
