Service here is excellent. They do their very best. Busy or not. Do their best to accommodate. That Dubai Pistachio Chocolate shake is to die for. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Haven't been to this chain much. Chicken was dry, FF were crispy, but just ok. Veggy burger was ok. High price, milk shake was good. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ordered on their app for pickup, the order itself was on time and warm when picked up. Checked the receipt and it was correct before leaving. Upon arriving at home and opening the bag, they got 3 different items within the order completely wrong. Not one item, but three. We called the store over thirteen times in a row before heading back and calling a few more times. They just don’t pick up the phone at all. It was a very rainy day and they were not nearly as busy as they usually are on a regular day, usually the parking lot is fully packed, while that day there were maybe six cars parked at the time. Upon arrival back at the store to get the order corrected, the manager had the audacity to blame us for not calling them or physically checking our order when picked up. Then after arguing with them, they finally made our order correct and decided to refund it in full which honestly, was not expected, we just wanted it to be acknowledged that they messed it up and made it right by us. My expectation, when I am paying a cheap fast food restaurant over $30 for a couple of very small burgers and a handful set of French Fries (not a local restaurant where prices tend to be quite higher for yet much larger portions), I expect it to be correct upon pickup. Although during this pandemic, I would even pay them even more than that for the same product just to support our local businesses, as a manager you have no right in arguing with a client when they show up with the order that was filled by your staff, show you a receipt of the correct order and point that your staff gave the wrong items. This last and most definite last experience left a lot to be desired, it was NOT the type of customer service one would expect in an upscale community such as Darien. Check my other reviews and you’ll see they are all fair and mostly, all excellent. I would not downgrade a business unless they highly deserved it by their customer service such as what Shake Shack Darien did. I get that orders get messed up onceI awhile but the actions of the local staff warranted this review one hundred percent. FWIW, just try calling them 2 or 3 (or 15) times before you decide to order from them. Unless you really have to order from this specific location, do yourself a favor and order from elsewhere locally.
