We absolutely love Shallow Waters — the food, the bar, and the whole welcoming vibe. Owner and Chef Matt is the real deal: he makes outstanding food with really interesting specials, and he’s genuinely personable and fun to chat with when you see him around. The staff is friendly and attentive from the second you walk in, and the bartenders hustle hard to keep up while creating some truly creative mixed drinks that pair perfectly with the meal. Prices are very reasonable for the quality — especially their Friday fish fry, where the walleye is generous, perfectly cooked, and a bargain. We also can’t get enough of the ahi tuna appetizer and the unique weekly specials. Everything is fresh, thoughtful, and just better than your typical spot. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and go — you’ll leave happy and already planning your next visit. Highly recommend! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
