I literally had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten: the kufta wrap. It’s a perfect mix of crunchy pickled veggies, savory meat, and creamy hummus in a delicious lavash wrap. I might be a little biased because I know the chef, but honestly Shami Cafe is the real deal. The food tastes just like home—perfectly seasoned chicken, amazing falafel, and ful that reminds me of what we eat back in Syria. You can tell everything is made with care and real Syrian flavors. Easily some of the best Syrian food I’ve had outside of Syria. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend
