I went to the shamraat this evening. Service was quick, but I told them multiple times that I had a nut allergy and they did not seem the acknowledge what I told them. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and reminded them again that I had a nut allergy. A friend I went with also ordered the same meal. They told me they will take the nuts out of my chicken tikka masala if they did contain them. We were given our meals with no indication which one had nuts in. After looking through both curries, they both were made with nuts in, specifically cashew nuts. Luckily that I’m not severely allergic to cashew nuts in particular, but I did have an allergic reaction which caused my tongue to swell and tightness in my chest, I had to seek medical attention for this. *If you have a nut allergy do not go here* especially if you have a sever nut allergy as they did not take this seriously. Rung them later in the evening and they did not seem to take on board the severity of having nuts in a meal, when someone had told them multiple times they have an allergy and I was told all their customers don’t have nut allergies. How would they know if they did not ask me once as I had to tell them I had an allergy multiple times and still was not listened to. Was not clearly labeled in the menu either Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
