Shane's is mid barbecue at best. It'll usually fix a barbecue craving since Rome doesn't have any barbecue places any better than mid. I was craving smoked wings. Big mistake. I ordered the 10 count smoked wings, fries, baked beans. Just plain smoked wings. If that's what you're wanting, that's not what you'll get. Mind you, the menu picture shows typical smoked wings. What you get are 100% obviously baked wings, and Shane's isn't even trying to hide it. Nothing remotely resembling pit-smoked chicken wings. They don't even try to fake a smoky flavor. Baked. Go to Moe's Barbecue if you want SMOKED wings. Shane's, you should be ashamed of yourself. False advertising. That's the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm done.

The cashier was very polite and cute and fun to cut up with. Fun to talk to. Wings again were on the dry side like they were already cooked. This is the 3rd time in a row. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went into Shane's rib shack last night got some takeout.My first time eating there. I got the barbecue chicken plate and my husband got the rib tender plate. All night he was real nauseous. His stomach hurts and everything. And he is throwing up. Then to top it off. The register lady a little blonde with glasses was really rude and we had questions and she would not answer those she was really being a butthole about it. But then I had another lady come out and she was really sweet and she deserves a raise or something because she was the only one that was really being sweet and she had wonderful customer service skills so I salute her. But won't eat here again. Made us sick. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
