Siu long bao pretty awful. Thick skin, hardly warm filling. Beef in beef roll pretty tough and sinewy. Wrap needs more frying as pretty white. Soup had just a few strands of vermicelli. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We did a comparison of the xiao long bao (XLBs) from Shanghai Dimsum House vs. Shanghai Fortune Cuisine which is just a few stalls away. Overall if you are in the mood for extremely large XLBs with a lot of soup, then this is the place for you. The flavor was "ok only" and the dough a little thicker than I would like. But it is a fun spot to try for an unusual take on an XLB dish. Service was fast and ordering process very easy.
