Very tasty Chinese cuisine in a strip mall. The staff were courteous and quick to serve, everything was flavorful, and the lunch specials were a good deal. Heads up: parking can be a challenge if you pick an end of a row towards the Chick-fil-a, as cars will block your way of pulling out. Authentic regional Chinese food (Shanghainese/Cantonese, not Szechuan/Hunan) excellently-prepared and reasonably-priced. Other than the grumpy older man who answers the phone, the staff there are very welcoming. My family dines at Shanghai often; here are some of our favorite dishes. Salt and Pepper Fish Fillets - moderately spicy batter-fried fish fillets Shrimp Stuffed Tofu Hot Pot - deep-fried tofu with shrimp paste in an brown sauce with some napa Beef Chow Fun - dry style - stir-fried wide rice noodles with beef, scallions, veggies Salt and Pepper Squid - like moderately spicy fried calamari Shrimp Stuffed Eggplant - tender Chinese eggplant with shrimp paste in an brown sauce Pea Tips (Dou Miao) with Garlic - tasty stir-fried greens, lightly seasoned Orange Beef - crispy marinated beef in a mildly spicy orange sauce Chinese Dry-style String Beans with Minced Pork (not on menu) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
