Nuovo Shanghai is a family-run restaurant in Vicenza that has been serving up delicious Chinese cuisine since 1996. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast and of high quality, both in-house and for take away. Prices are very reasonable and the menu offers plenty of variety, so there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the restaurant is kept clean and tidy. The owners are knowledgeable and speak perfect Italian, which makes ordering easier. The spring rolls and hot and sour soup are particularly recommended. Overall, Nuovo Shanghai is an excellent choice for a delicious and affordable Chinese meal.

Nice Chinese Restaurant across from the Pam and Happy Casa. Service was super fast and the food was tasty. A great place to get lunch and do some shopping. Of note, the Wanton soup was the best I’ve tasted in Italy in over five years! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good Chinese food in Italy? I never thought I'd see the day! But, Nuovo Shanghai in Vicenza is putting out some delicious plates of Chinese food for those days and nights you just can't eat another pizza or plate of pasta. My husband and I shared a lot of different things on our first visit. The stars were the Hot and Sour Soup and House Special Fried Rice. As the weather gets colder and rainier as we move through fall and into winter here, I will be back often for that Hot and Sour Soup. Prices are insanely low. €1.50 for spring rolls, €3 for fried rice, €4 for chicken dishes... Service is fast and friendly. Parking can be a little tricky, but when we went for lunch, we just slid into the back of the lot for the grocery store right across the street. I'm not sure if that lot stays open at night.
