We visited this place back in June on a trip in Japan. I had forgotten to write a review. We found this by pure coincidence while walking through Pontocho Alley, starving and trying to find a place that was still available for the late evening. It was this quaint, hidden doorway leading up to an izakaya, and it honestly feels like the universe had led us to it. All we ate was dumplings and ”addictive cucumber” from the menu, and it was genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had in my entire life. After each bite, all me and my partner could do was stare at eachother and laugh in disbelief. I think we genuinely talked about this meal for hours afterwards and almost felt high off of how insanely delicious it was. The woman that owns this place told us that the dumplings were a family recipe, and she was so kind and talented. It almost felt like we’d stumbled upon some kind of food god I felt like crying when we had to leave, I didn’t want the meal to end. I really, REALLY recommend this place. We will definitely visit it again when we come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cute little spot that serves delicious sides with the main focus being the dumplings. They have a marble numbering system with how many dumplings you’ve eaten which I think is a fun way to keep count. The lady that owns the place is lovely and is super chatty with all the guests - she makes you feel super welcomed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sorry I couldn’t find your reservation. Your reservation name is Mr or Ms Malcolm?? How did you make your reservation? I only accept reservations from 食べログ or Hot pepper or Instagram.And you upload your review yesterday but I opened my restaurant yesterday.. so I just confused. If I missed your reservation I am so sorry. I want to know your reservation details.
