Just wanted to share our experience with the public, as you can see from the receipt 15% surcharge on public holiday, we totally get it, paying by card is surcharge, but in saying this my wife went to purchase something else with cash, the owner mentioned this will be a surcharge 15%, my wife said we are paying cash, owner said regardless Cards or Cash is a 15% surcharge, WOW. Remember we have already paid a surcharge already, so they want to hit us up for another..UNBELIEVABLE.ROBBING THE BLIND. Hi Jamal. The surcharge is for the public holiday. We work really hard on insuring all of our staff get paid correctly so on public holidays we have to pay double time and a half. It is not a surcharge for cards, in fact we don’t have a surcharge for using a card at all. Hope that explains it clearly for you. Sorry for any confusion. The receipt you have just posted clearly states, public holiday surcharge. It is also clearly written on the menu that there is a public holiday surcharge on the menu. Whether you pay with cash or card it is the same. More
