I've driven by this place several times and always wanted to try it. Today I did and it didn't disappoint. Ordered the Chicken Tangine and Beef plate. Both came with ample rice, a salad, hummus, pita bread and meat. I have to remind myself that ordering beef in a sharwarma place will also yield the same thing. It's shavings of beef rather than beef chunks. Forget beef kabobs like how I would love. Instead it's ground up meat. The chicken tangine was chunks of chicken but not that tasty. The beef was more tastier. Next time it'll be lamb shanks or a pide, an elongated bread with meat or cheese toppings. Service was ok, most patrons were take out orders. Bad thing was cash only. My husband and I ordered Beef shawarma and one combo chicken shawarma. The shawarma was fine, but the fries is not that good, you can taste like a use oil.
I just don’t like how unsanitary the cafe, especially how they touched the food without gloves. Most of them they don’t wear a hairnet.
