Tried Shawarma Jalila recently after hearing good things about it. I ordered the regular shawarma, the akkawi shawarma, and the akkawi sandwich. Overall it was decent but not really something that stood out compared to other shawarma places around. The flavors were okay, but the spices they use were a bit too salty for my taste which kind of overpowered the sandwich sometimes. On the positive side, the garlic sauce was actually really nice, light, balanced, and not too heavy or overwhelming. The food is still enjoyable, but with how many strong shawarma spots we have these days, the competition is tough and I personally wouldn’t rank it among the top places yet.
