The food won't kill you, but it's not shawarma. I ordered the zinger sandwich and it was basically fried chicken fingers and processed cheese in a wrap. There wasn't even the slightest hint of middle eastern flavor, it was something you'd get from taco bell or KFC. Horribly disappointed. My partner ordered the lamb platter. The lamb is very processed and no way to tell if it's lamb or well-seasoned tofu. All on a huge bed of rice with basically the toppings you'd get on a whopper. Definitely nothing special, and certainly not worth going back for. I was so looking forward to more actual Middle Eastern food options in College Station, but I guess I'll stick to Shiraz.

Best Shawarma I've had in CSTAT. Service has always been super fast and super friendly. My only complaint is that the portions are a bit smaller than I would prefer. However, it is still a good value for the price. Hope they add more items to the menu in the future. The few Shawarma options they have right now are great but I would love to see some smaller items to compliment these entrees.

Finally, the loooong wait is over. And I don't mean waiting for a Mediterranean food truck in CS, I meant the wait of having the Shawarma King food truck stationed right in front of your eyes and waiting for all the paperwork before they could open. That was excruciating! Anyway, their menu is short and simple. Two types of Shawarmas (chicken and beef/lamb) and two types of Burritos, at very reasonable prices. The staff is extremely friendly and the best part is, of course, the food. The meat is always juicy fresh and the sauce greatly complements the taste. I am so happy to have two of the best food trucks in town, located so close to my workplace. They are usually busy throughout the day and run out early. So it's better to call in and check before paying a late evening visit. PS: The remaining star is to motivate them to increase their portion a little bit. Such good food should not leave you craving for more due to the portion. (I know I am nitpicking here, and let this in no way discourage you, to try them out.)
