Shawarma Time was fantastic. One of the first things I noticed was the rotating meat pillars behind the counter, which is always a great sign when you’re looking for authentic shawarma. From there, the experience only got better. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with recommendations. The food was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures before diving in—which is probably the highest compliment I can give. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, the seasoning was spot on, and every bite left me wanting more. If you’re craving great shawarma and authentic flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Taste: Shawarma - When i say Shawarma, I compare the Shawarma we get in middle East (which has that light rottiserie like chicken flavour blended with Tahini/Toom/yogurt/Sumac etc.). So this Shawarma, is no where close "Shawarma" - This is mostly like masala/desi Shawarma with lots of flavored spices and hard chicken (not like a sliced shawarma chicken). Secondly, I had asked them to make it saucy - but they missed to add and it was very dry. Overall - I didn't like the Shawarma per se (flavor and dry). But it was filled with meat (and they didn't stingy on it - which is a plus) Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I visited Shawarma Time at the RTC last night and was disappointed with the vegetarian options. We ordered the Mixed Veggie plate, the Falafel plate, and a Falafel wrap. Unfortunately, there was almost no difference between the two plates aside from two small pieces of cauliflower. The salad was mostly raw, bitter cabbage rather than the lettuce described on the menu, and the wrap was served in an undercooked tortilla. Additionally, the side dip lacked the traditional zest of a tzatziki. For the price, I expected the standard inclusions like rice or dolmas which were missing here. Overall, the meal didn't hit the mark on quality or value.
