We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is lovely, with a stylish interior and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Truly a 10/10 experience. A special thank you to Michał who looked after us brilliantly throughout our visit. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We’d also like to thank Zuzia, who was incredibly helpful and kind. It was such a pleasure chatting with both of them, their excellent service really made our visit even more enjoyable. The best pub food I’ve ever had. It’s not your standard fish and chips or burger; the menu is incredibly diverse, offering everything from Italian gnocchi to roast salmon or roast chicken. I went for the roast chicken—a huge, delicious portion—and it was a real winner! I was also delighted by the incredibly friendly service; one of the waiters, Michael, recommended the chicken when I was really hungry, and I’m very grateful to him for that. A place worth recommending—this pub serves truly excellent, high-quality food. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After a long day of wandering the Tower Bridge, Borough Market and Tate Modern we were very ready to sit down for some good food and drink. Shaw’s Booksellers was perfect for us. Our crew of 7 got a table no problem and enjoyed several hours of fantastic service, good prices and good booze. The halloumi fries are amazing we kept reordering more.
