If you happen to be near Kath. Kirchengemeinde St. Matthias, you can go to this restaurant. If you have never tasted Persian cuisine, you should order a table at Shayan. You can order nicely cooked chicken, kebabs and lamb skewers. The unique characteristic of this place is serving tasty berliner, ice cream and yogurt. You will hardly forget delicious wine that you can find. Tea is great at this spot.

I was here early june, and just grinned. The Mahiche ba, lamb leg, is one of the best value for money dishes in Berlin. 18 euros and perfection. Have been going here at last once a year för 20 years. Always good, except last year. But everyone can have a bad day at work, including myself, so I decided to give Shayan another try. A very wise decision. (Some ten years back they warned me when I arrived that the were understaffed due to sickness and said if I was in a hurry I`d better go elsewhere – I was not, an the meal was great). If not exceptionally hungry, you´ll do well with just a main. On the other hand, if you have a microwave or a proper stove where you live – just order and get leftovers in a box.
