I went with some friends for a birthday, and it was such a beautiful atmosphere. We booked in advance and got a table right by the sea, so we watched the sun set over Brownsea Island as we ate. Cocktails were delicious, the soft shell crab starter was a really stand out but we overall really enjoyed ourselves. The waiting staff were patient and helpful and we didn't feel looked down upon or patronised despite the fact we weren't as expensively dressed as many of the clientele (something I have definitely felt in other restaurants before). It was overall a lovely treat. My only critique would be the chairs. They were metal chairs with backs that sloped backwards and they weren't suitable for someone who faces back pain as you would have come across as reclining if you actually used them.
