After looking at Braidburn Valley Park, have a meal at Shell. Imagine a combination of tasty dishes and the friendly staff, this is exactly what Shell provides you with. Many guests find that the service is enjoyable. But a number of people who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

I was kinda disappointed because i thought they had the bakery section in the kiosk like Dreghorn but still i managed to het something to munch

Arrived today to buy a calor gas cylinder. Knowing it’s can be difficult to get I checked the cage before I went in. I was greeted by a nice Asian lady. I said “I just want to get a gas cylinder please”. She replied “all empty”. I said “no, there are full ones I’ve checked”. “NO, all empty”. Was the reply. I was then treated to a verbal diatribe about being the sole staff members, go somewhere else, and the again, all empty. My wife and kids were in the forecourt. I went out and said can you believe this…! The Asian lady followed me out. Opened the cage and said “you see! All empty.!” I pulled out one 13kg in a row of FULL 13kg gas cylinders. Full. New with yellow tabs. She had refused to give me her managers number when I was first lied to in the store. She then left the cage wide open, and retreated to the store. She waved at me in some random manner at which point I said “what is the issue? I couldn’t figure out what you wanted”. There was some debate about a manager. I said I want to pay for the gas and leave. I was then ranted at for her being the only store staff member. I said “that isn’t my problem, you need to speak to your boss.” I was eventually allowed to pay £65 for calor gas, which seems high to be honest for 13kg. I got some half assed apology that made little or no sense. I volunteered to lock the cage for her and returned the key. Rude staff, without any qualms I was lied to multiple times to my face. This is what the world has become. People who don’t think twice but to lie as an easy way out rather than truthfully say that as a sole staff member it was a bit difficult. Btw. Only 1 person was filling air in tyres when I was there. No one else was there bar myself and the CCTV. If you want to be lied to by rude staff. Pay them a visit. I’m sure you won’t be let down.
