Broke down here this morning after my clutch failed as I pulled in for fuel. I rolled the car into a marked parking bay and went inside to inform staff and explain that I'd be calling local recovery. The response from the staff member (I believe named Jackie) was appalling. Instead of any understanding, I was met with rudeness and passive aggressive remarks such as “we can’t have a broken down car here,” “it needs to be gone in 3 hours,” and “technically you can’t just leave your car here.” As if a mechanical failure is some kind of personal choice or a fun outing. No attempt to help. No empathy. No professionalism. Just a stream of pointless comments that did nothing except make an already stressful situation worse. What made this even more absurd was watching multiple cars stop illegally outside for school runs, blocking the pavement and parking on single yellow lines while my broken down vehicle, safely parked in a proper bay, was treated like a major inconvenience. Recovery arrived within an hour and a half and I left, but the breakdown itself was not the worst part of this experience. The attitude of the staff member was. This was a genuine customer in genuine difficulty, and the treatment I received was hostile, unhelpful, and completely lacking in basic customer service. If this is the standard set by management, it’s no surprise the service is poor. Perhaps instead of lecturing customers in distress, the focus should be on proper training in how to handle real world situations with basic courtesy and common sense.

Called in to check tyre pressures 15th Jan 4pm machine took £1 payment and didn't work, it let my tyres down. Unfortunately when i asked for help from staff the lady that came out told me i had not paid, then why did i use the pump if it didn't work, then nothing to do with us. she spoke over me. wasn't listening to what the problem was and told me i was shouting at her and then told me to go to the garage down the road it's only 50p. she seemed to think i was her enemy from the start and she was in some sort of power struggle it was very odd. can i suggest you stay of the shop floor until some retraining or maybe just some training has been done. And please can you reflect on your behaviour and try to do better.
