Inclusive Vibes & Front-Row Sea Views in the Lighthouse The "Dahab Dream" Honest Summary: "As a local guide who values kindness and community, I consider Shells one of the most welcoming spots on the promenade. To be 100% honest: it’s a casual beach club and restaurant, so don’t expect a formal 'fine dining' experience. However, for an Ultra-Premium level of hospitality—especially for those traveling with service dogs—and a stunning view that makes you want to stay all day, it is a Lighthouse staple." Why Shells is a "Dahab Dream" Staple: Inclusive & Friendly: Shells is famous for being incredibly welcoming to all visitors, including those with service animals, often accommodating guests where other spots might not. Perfect Swim-and-Dine Spot: Located right on the water, it’s one of the best places to base yourself for a day of swimming. You can jump into the sea and then come back to your lounge chair for a cold drink. Budget-Friendly Value: It is known for its very reasonable prices. You can spend a full day here—with multiple drinks and a meal—for a fraction of the cost of the bigger resorts. Varied Breakfast Menu: Their breakfast game is strong, offering everything from traditional Egyptian Breakfast (Foul & Falafel) to American-style Pancakes and omelets. Visual Strategy for High Reach: The "Lounge & Sea" Shot: A photo from your sofa or sunbed looking directly out at the turquoise water. This captures the "relaxed" essence of Dahab. The Pancake Stack: Their pancakes are a visual treat. A close-up shot of the "Banana and Honey" or "Chocolate" pancakes is a high-click photo. The Service Dog Welcome: If you see a happy pup or a service dog relaxing, a photo (with permission) highlights the inclusive nature of the restaurant, which is very helpful for other travelers. The location of the restaurant is great if you want to swim. However, the quality of the food isn't that good and it could be hard to communicate with the staff. They mentioned the times we were there that the breakfast comes with Hummus and Babaganosh, it wasn't the case. We ordered an Omelette and go what you see on the pictures. The staff can be friendly or unfriendly. It seems to depends on what you order. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The place is very well located, paved access to the sea. It opens early , around 7 or 8 am. For swimmers, the water is just amazing ! And it is near by the corals area, if you want to snorkle. The French coffe was nice, the calamari snacks was tasty too. The breakfast was okay, but not so good. The staff is friendly and responsive. Last time I was I Dabah, I spent 8 days, 5 of them was in Shells, and I loved it ! Definitely would go again ! Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
