The nicely cooked doner is what a lot of tourists try here. Clients don't highly appreciate beer at this bar. The Shepherds House is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices here are reported to be attractive. Had the Sheps loaded chips, superb presentation, portion size was fantastic . Best to eat with fingers, was absolutely finger licking good! Every mouthful was a delight The feta cheese was creamy and paired fantastically with the lamb doner . Highly recommend Service: 5

Having boasted the best kebabs in Reading we thought we would give it a try. We had a chicken and lamb donner kebab which was full of flavour and very juicy. It came with lovely bread and coated chips. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Service: 5

I’ve started using the Shepherds House due to the proximity to the pet shop where I have my dog groomed. It’s the perfect place to spend an hour while she’s being pampered. Now that the kitchen is back in operation, I’ve started to come here for an alternative Sunday lunch of the delightful sheps doner kebab. Service: 5
