A visit to Shima Kitchen has becoming a staple itinerary for Teshima’s visitor. Located below the hill of Teshima Art Museum, which is only a station apart, visitors often have their lunch here before or after their museum visit. Food are prepare using local produce and menu rotate on seasonal basis. Limited set meals are prepared daily so it’s suggested to go earlier where queue may also be expected during museum opening days. Food taste delicious with the warmth of home and i particularly like their citrus soda. Overall it’s a decent experience and you can take a comfortable stroll to nearby Shimizu and properly experience Japan countryside living.
