Really nice area with lots of busy restaurants, but unfortunately this place made us feel very unwelcome. There were plenty of open seats, but when we walked in we were told ‘Japanese only.’ We explained that we were happy to use a translation app and didn’t mind the Japanese menu at all, but we were still turned away. It felt clear that tourists weren’t welcome here. Just a heads-up for other travelers who might want to avoid an uncomfortable experience.
