It wasn’t just the comforting bowl of soba and the soft succulent pork ribs or the rustic vibes of the place that made my best first meal in Oki; it was also the warmth of the staff - we drove off after eating and then midway on the highway, I realised I left my wallet behind and had to take a detour! Thankfully the staff kept it nicely in a plastic bag for me when I returned, and everything was still in there, really grateful for them!
