After a long walk around Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium, come to this restaurant and have a rest here. But google users rated Shin-chan and it didn't achieve a high rating.

I visited Hamayaki Shinchan at Numazu Port during my trip to Numazu! It’s a popular restaurant among tourists, and one of the main reasons I came was to try their famous deep-sea fish. I ordered the deep-sea fish mostly for the experience. Honestly, it wasn’t as delicious as I had expected. I’m glad I tried it once because it’s something unique to Numazu, but I probably wouldn’t order it again. It’s definitely one of those “try it once” experiences! The highlight of my meal was the dried fish dashi ochazuke! The savory broth and the flavorful dried fish were a perfect combination. It was warm, comforting, and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order this again! Unfortunately, the Aji Tartar Sandwich was a big disappointment. It cost ¥800, but the fried horse mackerel was surprisingly tiny. It felt like I was eating mostly tartar sauce with just a little bit of fish. For that price, I expected a much bigger and more satisfying sandwich. The value for money just wasn’t there. Overall, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. ‍️ However, the lively atmosphere around the restaurant made the visit enjoyable. Trying deep-sea fish was a fun and memorable experience, even if the taste wasn’t my favorite. Next time I visit Numazu Port, I’ll probably choose one of the local seafood set-meal restaurants instead. I think they offer better value and a more satisfying seafood experience. If you’re looking for a unique local experience, this place is worth a visit. But if your priority is amazing food and great value, you may want to explore other restaurants nearby.
