Speaking of Tokyo's famous gourmet food, it's Monjayaki! Today we had lunch at "Shinanoya" on Tsukishima Monja Street. I chose the Shinanoya Monja with scallops, shrimp, and clams, and the Mentaiko Mochi Cheese that I almost always order when I come to Monja. To grill the monja, you ask the staff and wait for 5 minutes until the monja is completely spread out on the griddle. Both the seafood and mentaiko have an appetizing aroma and are so delicious that you won't be able to stop eating the piping hot monja! I was able to enjoy Monja and alcohol during the day on my day off!
