The server wasn’t a pleasant one, should of been a red flag ???? to start with, The worst coffee I’ve ever tasted, it’s like they ran the coffee through a second or third time, it was bitter watery definitely didn’t taste like coffee at all, I walked back and gave it back to them and told them it was disgusting didn’t wait nor ask for my money back, NEVER going back an would never recommend this cafe.

My first experience here was not what i expected.We ordered a late breakfast that consisted of Goodness bowl and smashed avo. For drinks we had a large latte and a chai latte with coconut milk.The Goodness bowl was full and looked good. My wife enjoyed it. I on the other hand did not enjoy the smashed avo. The rocket salad was supposed to have feta cheese but all i found were 3 really small pieces. The sour dough bread and avo were nice but the poached egg was the smallest i had ever seen. Maybe they used a pigeon egg. Barely enough to smear across the bread.The latte tasted of burnt milk but on the other hand my wife's Chai was great.Overall not the best first impression of Shingle Inn Eastlands.Probably give it a miss next time
