Gore Park can be on your route by default, the guests' piece of advice is to visit this steakhouse. Trying nicely cooked sirloins, miso soup and salads is a nice experience here. Many visitors point out that the staff is cute at Shingyu. Fast service is something guests agree upon here. Prices are good for the quality you get. Solid lobster, shrimp & steak combo, went there during a relatively quiet weekend lunch time. The place is spacious and properly sanitized. Great service as well. Surprisingly the fries and the water were the highlights lol. Btw, the street parking there is free on weekends.

We got Japanese steak combo special and Salmon combo special. My steak came along with Lobster tail, Shrimp skewer, veggies and fried rice for $31. It was a delicious meal. If you prefer medium cooked then get a medium rare so you can slowly cook on the hot stone. The meat is always warm and juicy. I recommend to cut smaller pieces, place it on stone and then dip in the sauces to get the optimum taste. Each time try different combinations of dips to get slight variety. Overall great taste, great service, great ambience, great value! The staff really cares for the customers feedback about food and are filled with joy when you say you really liked the food. Shingyu checks all the boxes you need for a dine-in experience.
