****permanently closed since Health violation code ***Great selection of sushi and desserts and hibashi..Since I head from local neighborhood they said they didn't keep the restaurant clean and saw rat going by the buffet line..

My cousin visting from Thailand wanted Sushi so we went to Shinju Japanese Buffet. It was the first for the four of us. It way my cousin's birthday and he got his meal free, The restaurant is super clean with good ambience. It was lunch time so it wasn't real crowded and we sat right away. I started off at the soup section and chose the sweet and sour. It was excellent. The sushi bar had so many to choose from and they were as fresh as could be... I tried a few rolls of each and some sushimi of almost all of the choices as well as the rice noodles and crab salad. I usually shy away from buffets, but this one is a keeper! I'm sad to say that I was too full to go to the hot food station. The next time I will start there. I did, however sample the dessert bar. There wasn't really anything outstanding but still what I sampled was tasty. I have to say it was a good experience and I highly recommend this buffet.
