Located on Haruokatori Street, Shinju is a traditional café with a long history, dating back to its founding in 1970. Known for capturing the retro charm of bygone eras, this establishment offers a nostalgic menu that brings patrons a sense of comfort akin to enjoying a meal at a grandparent's home. Regulars appreciate the cozy and inviting atmosphere, which is described as a place where one can unwind and feel at ease.
Despite its appealing character, potential visitors should be aware of certain limitations regarding accessibility, as it lacks facilities such as wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating. Shinju is operated by a warm and welcoming couple, creating an environment that often leads guests to feel like a part of their friendly community. While specific operating hours are not readily available, it seems that breakfast services are offered in the morning, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a quiet start to their day.
Details regarding recent updates from the management are sparse, and those interested in visiting might need to reach out directly to confirm current offerings or operational changes. Visitors might enjoy simple pleasures such as the classic combination of toast and coffee, evoking flavors from a simpler time. Shinju’s enduring appeal lies in its ability to blend a soothing ambiance with an authentic café experience that resonates with both new friends and longtime regulars.

Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
