We had a late reservation, 20:30, but they were more than accommodating. Chef Shingo and his assistant were so polite and made the atmosphere so welcoming for me and my wife. The creativity of the food and presentation were phenomenal. We have been in Japan for two weeks, live in New York City, and consider ourselves well adept in our food knowledge and culture. But they simply blew us away with their technique and passion. We even got to try some of the ingredients as he prepared the dishes! This was a special dinner and not one we will soon forget. This was an absolutely amazing evening. The chef showed such passion and creativity in his work. We experienced food combinations that we’ve never seen before, such as sea urchin and caviar in the same dish. Also had an amazing wine list. Service was excellent. Overall a top notch experience! Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
