My girlfriend and I have book-marked this Izakaya and wanted to try during our short stay in Sendai. We originally went to their main restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed. So we try our luck with Shinogi 2, although the night was fully booked, the waitress kindly offered us the outdoor seat. We were so happy as we love the quietness and vibe. Heater was installed so we didn’t feel cold at all, they also provided hand-warmers which is excellent service! We ordered quite a lot of food and drinks, my girlfriend and I both had an amazing experience and will definitely come back again!! The staff were so nice and helpful to explain the dishes on the menu and recommended us some tasty dishes. I think the price is reasonable and I’d even say it’s so worth compare to what I need to pay for such high quality food back in Hong Kong. Would highly recommend to reserve a table in advance if possible. Went on: Monday Night Our Favourite Dishes: Fried Horse mackerel (I suggest to order 2 portion, it is really that good!), salad with cheese, any kind of sashimi (Yellowtail was yum) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥6,000–7,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
