Walked in randomly for lunch, very welcoming and accommodating. Got the buffet. You get 4 styles of eating plates for the various choices of food, just like you would use at home. New plates provided when needed. Tables taken care timely and buffet constantly checked on by chefs. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. I recently found out about shishkabob Express. I have to say this place has surpassed my expectations. They offer a buffet, one of the best I've had yet to try. I live in the Alexandria/Springfield area, and I've been to several places that are similar, but nothing can compare to shishkabob express, most other places only offer a stew like chicken. Shishkabob Express actually has chicken kabobs, and my most favorite, BEEF kabobs, along with other great dishes. The restaurant is very well kept and clean. The price and quality of the food make this an even better deal!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Beef Kubideh Vegetarian options: They have a great variety of vegetarian foods for the buffet, all well labeled and organized. Also, it is kept separate from the meat items.
