There are vegetarian options, and the menu is halal. I ordered the sampler appetizer, which allows for choosing three items. This included hummus with pita bread, falafel, and lentil soup. I also ordered the bean salad, the lamb kebab, which comes with rice, a side salad, and pita bread, and I added a vegetable kebab to this meal. Everything was lightly seasoned, but salt and pepper was available at the table. The food was prepared well, but the quality and atmosphere were diner level quality, which didn't match the pricing. Don't turn away because of the location or because of the outside look. Come on in! The place is clean, service is good and the food is excellent! If you're in the mood for something different than most American food, this is the place to discover different food and different flavors! We'll go back again to Shishkebab Restaurant!
