When we arrived, we were seated immediately. The menu held a good selection of sushi, not a ton, but sufficiently diverse to be interesting. Sashimi and nigiri too. I will be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tuna Tataki, Miso Soup

I would give this place six stars if I could. The ambience is stellar, the food is top notch, and the service was perfect — not so attentive as to be annoying, but always there exactly when you needed them to be. You walk into the restaurant and are immediately transported out of an Orem strip mall and into a fine, peaceful dining establishment of the type you would expect to see in Manhattan or Tokyo. Unlike Manhattan or Tokyo, you won’t find the place crowded with financiers and salarymen, but will instead find a calm and friendly atmosphere. Once seated, you can expect attentive and friendly service. The menu has a variety of classic Japanese dishes, and the sushi combinations are creative and delicious. The sushi is hand rolled, seemingly made to order, with high quality fish. The other menu items are also made to order and highly satisfying. Go to Shoga Sushi next time you are in the mood for Japanese cuisine; it will not only be a delicious meal, but also a pleasant and relaxing experience. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.
