Horrible Staff (Not All) Kitchen Chef (Mike) is extremely rude and disrespectful, i attempted to make a order for pick up (sandwich) as i started to say my order the chef (Mike) he quickly yelled saying HOLD ON! HOLD ON! LET ME GET A PEN!!! i did not appreciate being spoke to in such a rude a hostel manner, so i got defensive and replied sorry its hard to hear you with your phone line being so staticky, if you would like to be heard then maybe you should speak clearer or fix the phone line. I instantly got the phone dial tone as he slammed the phone to hang up. lol I decided to call back and ask for a manager, i got Ed (manager) on the phone and i explained my situation and he toke matters into his own hands and confronted his employee who then express disrespected to his manger (Poor Ed) and said i was rude and he has nothing to apologize for........ he then grabbed the phone in frustration and ask for my order, i told him i no longer would like to order with this ShopRite and ask him to have better patience and tolerance in his position as in sure this isn't his first encounter, he said OK! and hung up. We all work with tons of pressure everyday but please don't forget to be human and kind.

Dara's ShopRite of West Caldwell is a fabulous place to shop! Easy parking - about 8 pm! Got everything on the list, as well as friendliness from the courteous staff! Felipe in produce actually escorted me, when I asked, to show where the restroom is! A kind, young, gentleman working courtesy looked up an item for me, and another friendly man directed me to the item I wanted! Great grocery store! Thank you for your reading!
