I bought 4 tickets for my wife and I and another couple to attend the Shanneyganock show , 8 pm at the Shore Club. Assuming the doors would open early, we arrived at 7:15 to a long lineup, in the rain, waiting to get in.We phoned to ask when the doors were opening and we’re told 8 pm, staff was not arriving until then. Most of us, looking at the ads for 8 pm, assumed that the show was start then. No understanding from the staff on the entrance . When the doors did open at 8, the young guy on the door( who said he was owner/ manager) was rude to my wife and I, told us we could leave , and when we didn’t , said he’d be keeping an eye on me - a 71 year old senior! Shanneyganock didn’t show up until 10:10pm after an hour and a half of their drummer singing and playing guitar as a “warm-up”. I went to complain again and was basically threatened by this “owner” and his two security guards. We left shortly after listening to a few songs. Very poor organization and public relations. This was our first and definitely last time there. Very bad experience, destroyed any enjoyment of the actual band. Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$50–60 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

First time here. Beware the chicken cordon blue. It's basically frozen out of a box. I couldn't eat it and polity told the waitress. She apologized but it was not taken off my bill. Note there were two small bites gone. Many of the salads were empty and the cold slaw was a watery mess in the bottom of the bowl. The salads looked store bought. Lobster my husband had was fine. Of course u cook lobster in salt water and melt butter we buy off the boats and do that so no big deal. I notice the owner never replies or acknowledges problems on here. With my frozen chicken I got a small soup of vegetables and two very small roast potatoes, overdone. For what we paid it was ridiculous. Thank goodness for Matt Minglewood. He saved the day.
