Cute little place. I got meatballs and they were great. My wife got a salad and the kids nuggets. We were all satisfied. The staff was great and worked fast. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I drive down from Urbana a few times a month to eat at the Short Stop. We had hoped the business would get more organized with the new owners. We were in this weekend and ordered our usual, from the appetizer section of the menu, bacon cheese steak fries and a pizza. They said it would be 30-40 minutes. We were okay with that. Our pizza arrived to our table in just 20 minutes. We were very pleased with this. However, the appetizers didn't arrive until 15 minutes after that and only after I went up and asked about them. That's our biggest complaint as well as other customers we have spoken with in the dining room. Please consider hiring a manager or a consultant experienced in multi item orders. It would be well worth the investment. The solution may be as simple as reprogramming your Point of Sale System.
