Many visitors come here to try nicely cooked ribs, fried chicken and chicken steaks. Do not go away without degusting good biscuits, apple pie and cobbler. If you want to taste some delicious beer or good Mimosas, this bbq is a decent choice for you. Come here and have great lemonade or delicious tea.

Love love love the Marty Cristo sandwich. My 1st time their,my children said try something different mom. Loved my choice!!!!

We will not return to Shorty Small's based on the service and value. We have not been to the restaurant chain in years, and never to this location, so we thought we'd try something different. The service did not start off well. It does the waitress no good to memorize/not write down our order if she's not going to bring what we ordered. First she got our drinks wrong (only 3 of us) and the restaurant was not very busy, nor was she. We then heard the manager at the next table explain to the customer why their bill was completely wrong, and provide them a discount because their bill had them paying for things that they never ordered, nor received. I ordered a combination that wasn't specifically on the menu: pulled pork and sausage. I got ribs and sausage. When I asked the waitress about this all she had to say was she put the order in correctly(?), but that she would get me some pulled pork. Not only did I never receive the pulled pork, but she was speechless when she brought us the bill and I explained the deficiency. I was unclear if she thought someone else was going to bring it or if she just never arranged for me to get what I ordered. Additionally, on the menu, ribs were priced at ~$21 and pulled pork was priced at ~$17. However, when you add a piece of sausage to the pulled pork it is then priced the same as if you'd added a piece of sausage to the ribs. The ribs were dry and didn't have much flavor, but our waitress never came back to the table so I could ask her for some more barbecue sauce to add flavor. The sausage was good. When the waitress brought the check and we asked about the deficiencies (drink, wrong order, never receiving what I ordered, and the seemingly incorrect price) she had no explanation, but instead she just walked away and sent the manager over and we never saw her again. The manager came over and with a notable lack of authority said that he'd remove the cost of my meal. I told him I didn't think that was necessary since I ate it, and we just wanted to provide feedback on the fact that we didn't get what we ordered. He walked away and the next, non-itemized bill was only about 50% of what we'd ordered, with no explanation, or itemized bill, to show what we were being charged for. At that point, it didn't seem as though we were going to get any more service so we paid the bill and left (never seeing the waitress or manager again). Everyone's meal was mediocre, at best, the service was not professional, nor was it adequate, and the prices were much higher than the quality of any of the meals. This is an easy choice that we will not return to Shorty Small's, nor do we recommend this location to anyone.
