This is the best spot near Umichurara. The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is appealing. If you want to enjoy spectacular service, you should go to Shougun. From the visitors' viewpoint, the atmosphere is cozy. Google users assigned the score of 4.4 to this place.

The food and presentation was excellent! We tried sushi, grilled meats, and grilled veggies and all were great quality. Also, the lighting at the table was a nice touch. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Terrific food, lovely relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the chefs are highly skilled! Excellent menu full of delicious choices. Great music choices! A true Gem!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In many ways it is difficult to comment on any restaurants, especially cause it is really hard to know fully about the restaurant. That's the reason why I usually don't make any kind of comments about the restaurants where i visited. "But there are times when a critical guest truly risks something." Japanese restaurants often have a certain level of entry barriers to outsiders. Sometimes it can be a language or foods or indigenous manners what the outsiders usually can't know. On the contrary to this fact, the strangers are usually seeking the place where they can take a rest and fully enjoy itself. That's the reason why they are wandering far from home. They are usually looking for the place where they can feel comfortable, get recharging and enjoy themselves. So they, of coursely including me, are called strangers in everywhere. Not every fancy restaurants can become a nomad's sanctuary, but does this restaurant 'Shougun'(a general of laughing) can become that kind place. "They have rocked me to my core." You can meet friendly, kind and delicate staffs with their smiling and pretty faces(just like the name of the restaurant) and great dishes that you can be satisfied with more than anything else in this store, of coursely with the reasonable price. At the time of this visit, I was passing through a kind of hard time in my own life and also as a stranger who seeking a true sanctuary. And in this store, I could forget all my worries and problems, and throw off the stranger's mask. Like Okinawan Chanpuru culture, this restaurant and the people who not just the staffs but also the local visitors truely get ready to embrace outsiders without any kind of pain or prejudice. Isn't it so Okinawan? "I will be returning to Shougun's soon, hungry for more. Surprise me like what always you guys did" To the stranges who are seeking their own place to lie down, just give it a try. You will meet good people and good foods. A cute painting that welcomes you by an also cute artist of great talent is a bonus. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
