The menu of Indian cuisine is recommended to taste at this restaurant. Take a break and order tasty japanese curry, biryani and spicy chicken. Here you can have great lassi.

The staff is hospitable that's what makes Shrija so good. Nice service is something guests like here. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are low. The pleasant atmosphere adds a comfortable feel to a guests' stay at this place. But many clients who use Google didn't grant this spot a high rating.

Probably the most authentic (south) Indian restaurant in Japan. The first place that I came across that had Briyani. Around a 5 minute walk from Futawamukodai station. Pleasant atmosphere. Service was warm and friendly; certainly felt welcomed. The food was extraordinary — certainly authentic above anything else. Flavour was not quite the same as other Indian restaurants in Japan, which may also be a sacrifice in customer traffic. I.e. Indian restaurants in Japan tend to serve food sweeter and milder, whereas the food at Shrija were much more of a complex and traditional flavour. Ordered the Chicken Briyani, Saag Paneer, Egg Masala, Garlic Naan, and others. Briyani was outstanding — brought memories to the Briyani served on the roadsides in Singapore. Spices in the curries were true to its South Indian roots, and were ecstatic. Beverages ordered were the Mango Lassi and hot Chai. Both were very rich and sweet. Chai wasn’t too spicy, but very very delicious. Hopes are this restaurant will last without sacrificing the quality of the food, however the food industry in Japan may very much force them to accommodate to the Japanese flavour. I strongly recommend trying the food here and supporting their business that they can be sustainable!
