So delightfully delicious. Great new flavour combinations, friendly professional service, Alex our waiter was fab and took care of us. Certainly returning at some point and would definitely recommend to anyone. Waiting for them to open one down South. Number 1 choice for Chester. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Vegetarian options: This is a plant based restaurant suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Just delicious. Dietary restrictions: No nuts to my memory and we're happy to accommodate any dietary requirements with broad options available. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot, Paid street parking Parking: Just be aware It is located upstairs. This does offer a lovely view overlooking the town, depending on if you'd like to be seated inside or outside. Relaxed, classy atmosphere, can be an intimate setting for a date which is what we had. Also suitable for a friendly catcg uo, meeting or a party. There is plenty of space. I would happily have a birthday party there but it's 2 hours out of my city. Kid-friendliness: Yes suitable for children .

Came here today for a post-birthday lunch and everything was perfect! The flavours were incredible and the presentation was unreal. Everything was flawless, from start to finish-special shout out to Grace who looked after us so well thank you queen Edit: I don't like artichokes particularly, but my man insisted on getting the wings and BOY OH BOY. Second visit to Shrub and can’t recommend highly enough. Even converted my non-vegan Brother-in-law to tofu! Potato dishes that are out of this world flavourful. Love getting a few plates and mixing and matching. Service from Millie and Alex is top notch. Hope to return soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30
