Shyun is a Japanese restaurant located in Carnegie, offering sushi, ramen, donburi, and sashimi. Their flavors are rather average. It might be worth a try if you haven't experienced Japanese cuisine before, but for enthusiasts of Japanese food, it might not be the best choice. The freshness of their fish is passable, but it lacks the expected freshness and sweetness. The seafood don relies more on sauce for flavor enhancement rather than the seafood itself. The miso flavor chicken cutlet rice dish is a bit overpowering. The takoyaki isn't grilled but fried. The sushi is alright. However, considering their reasonable prices, one cannot expect much more.
