Fuxing Temple is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this bar after long walks. A lot of visitors order delicious gin, martinis or negroni. Good tonic is among the tastiest drinks to degust.

It's recommended to order with bartender directly to prevent communication gaps. I ordered a herbal cocktail, while it was served as a gin Martini. ''Herbal cocktail NOT equals to Gin Martinez! '' It could be more diverse, and for people who wanna drink short cocktail, they gonna order Martinez. When ordering with bartender, they were able to provide better cocktails, so I would say it was communication issue that led to bad experience in the begining. My girlfriend and I first stopped in Sidebar in November 2024 and had a wonderful time talking with Eleven and trying out new gins. We came back in March 2025 and had the pleasure of having Tan be our host. He turned me on to some amazing small-batch Japanese gin and made me one of the best gin & tonics that I've ever had. Highly recommended, will come back the next time that we return to Taipei. Never seen them serve food though. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $1–200
