We love the setting and atmosphere of this place. It’s great in the spring/summer for a casual meal. The food is mediocre at best. It’s not bad, it’s just bland and leaves you wanting more. We don’t go for the food. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The Silver Spring House Restaurant is okay. A little overpriced, but keep in mind that they have free peanuts in the shell and popcorn. The staff works hard and treats you well. If you go out side of the sports bar food (wings, burgers, etc.) the food is okay. I ordered the fried cod fish dinner. The cod was overcooked and dry. The three pieces of cod were much smaller than I am used to seeing compared to other restaurants when ordering the fried cod fish platter/dinner. I keep giving the Silver Spring House Restaurant another try and I have the hardest time finding something on the menu I want to order. I never leave this place looking forward to going back. I lot of old locals love this place.
